Channel Alerts

File → Channel Alerts

Alerts watch live channels and maths channels. When the conditions trip, EmStream shows a notification. Sound is optional.

Create an alert

1. Open File → Channel Alerts.
2. Click Add Alert.
3. Set Name, leave Enabled checked, and turn Play sound on if you want a tone.
4. Add one or more trigger conditions.

Each condition compares a channel with a number or with another channel. The comparison editor is the same one used on the display — see Conditions.

Rows combine with AND, OR, or NOR. The join is between a row and the row before it, read from top to bottom.

While an alert is active

The list shows how many alerts are currently tripped. Clear Active dismisses the on-screen notices. The alert stays enabled and can trip again.
