Configuration and Setup Packs
EmStream has two save formats. Use a configuration file for this PC’s whole layout. Use a setup pack to move calculations between EmStream and EmVision.
EmStream configuration
File → Save Config / File → Load Config
An .emsc file stores the EmStream setup on this PC:
- Window count, layout, and the type of each pane
- Data grids and live plots
- Gauges
- Maths, tables, constants, and user channels
- Channel alerts
Load a configuration to restore that workspace. Opening a saved file shows its user channels straight away.
Connection passwords, voice settings, and session bookmarks are separate. Saved vehicles stay under File → Manage Saved Vehicles.
Setup pack
File → Export Setup Pack / File → Import Setup Pack
An .emmtc file contains maths, user channels, and tables. It does not contain the window layout, grids, plots, gauges, constants, or alerts.
EmVision imports and exports the same .emmtc file, so a calculation built on the pit wall can be reused when you analyse the log. Constants stay in their own YAML export — see Constants.
